They found that participants taking a placebo had a faster rate of success in treating ED symptoms than participants who were treated with a penicillin.
The team also found that the group that received the placebo had a faster rate of success in treating ED symptoms than those who were treated with a penicillin. The researchers concluded that the trial showed that the new antibiotic could be used safely for many patients with ED, and that it is important to be aware of potential side effects.
